Steve has been a financial advisor for more than 29 years.  He earned his undergraduate degree in pre-law political science from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, and upon graduation immediately entered the financial services industry. He started his career with AXA Advisors in 1993 and was quickly promoted to Regional Vice President overseeing the Madison, WI office. In order to continue his advancement with AXA advisors, he moved to Phoenix in 1999.

In 2003 he formed his own independent firm: Bull Capital Management, LLC, a firm built on trust, transparency, and a “client first” mentality. The outgrowth of that firm has now become Verus Capital Partners, LLC.  Steve believes that while planning considerations are important in reaching financial goals it is equally, if not more important, to focus on the rate of return on invested capital. His focus has always been working with clients to manage their portfolios while trying to mitigate market risk.

Steve resides in Paradise Valley with his wife Lana, his two sons Alexander and Grayson and 2 bulldogs.  He is heavily involved with coaching youth football and passionate about watching his sons play football.  When not in the office or on a field he is trying to get to the ocean and relax with a great bottle of wine.
