Emilio Cabuto is a San Diego native and Certified Financial Planner™ who helps individuals, families, and business owners build simple, effective strategies for their financial lives. His interest in financial planning began in 2008 after watching the financial crisis take a toll on his family’s investments — an experience that inspired him to make financial advice more transparent and accessible for others.

Since 2019, Emilio has been with Verus Capital Partners, where he works with clients to reduce taxes, grow wealth, and plan for major life transitions. He takes a calm, practical approach, helping clients cut through complexity and gain confidence in their financial decisions.

Emilio graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Business Administration (Finance emphasis). As a first-generation American, he is fluent in Spanish and has a growing focus on cross-border planning for U.S.-Mexico dual citizens.

Outside the office, Emilio enjoys running, hot yoga, and exploring new destinations with his wife. You’ll also find him cheering on the Padres or relaxing at home with their two cats, Luca and Myla.
